‘Red Machine’ Writer Will Battle The ‘Tick-Tock Man’

Bloody Disgusting has learned that Dwight H. Little (Halloween 4, Murder at 1600 and Executive Producer of Broken Arrow) has been attached to direct Tick-Tock Man from a screenplay by Red Machine‘s Jack Reher.

Reher’s script is described as: “A smart, twisty, elevated psychological thriller – ‘Tick-Tock Man’ follows the case of a forensic profiler who goes simply by the name, GHOST. Ghost is hunting a serial killer with a rare DNA in hopes of saving his son who will die in a few days time without a heart transplant. Racing against time, and promised a new heart for his son…Ghost must capture this killer and turn him over alive, not to the authorities, but to a black market organ broker that goes by the name “The Tick-Tock Man”.

Red Machine, directed by Saw V‘s David Hackl, and starring James Marsden, Thomas Jane and Billy Bob Thornton, is now in post-production.

This does sound like it has potential. Now they just need to rename it to something that won’t annoy the hell out of Stephen King fans.
