TV: [Next On] Two Clips From ‘True Blood’ Episode 5.03, “Whatever I Am, You Made Me”
This weekend prepare to ready to Bon Temps for “True Blood” Episode 5.03, “Whatever I Am, You Made Me” (airing Sunday, June 24). Below we’ve added two clips, “Authority Makes a Deal” and “Sam Finds Tara”, along with a preview of the episode which aired last Sunday.
In the episode, “Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) barter for their lives with the Authority Chancellors and their leader, Roman (Christopher Meloni). Salome (Valentina Cervi) and Roman enlist a new ally in the face of Russell’s return. Sookie (Anna Paquin) goes to Fangtasia to ask for help from Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten), who is still caught up in her memories of Eric and the strange murders at the Comstock Brothel. Andy (Chris Bauer)’s dalliance with Holly (Lauren Bowles) comes back to bite him in the butt; later, he’s visited by Gordon (Steve Rankin) and Barbara Pelt (Linda Purl), who are searching for Debbie. Jason (Ryan Kwanten) bumps into an old high school teacher, but their reunion brings up conflicting feelings. Written by Raelle Tucker; directed by David Petrarca.”

Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) is staying busy here in 2024, directing not only the werewolf movie Big Bad but also an upcoming thriller titled Drop.
The project for Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes is being described as a “fast-paced thriller,” and Deadline reports today that Violett Beane (Truth or Dare) has joined the cast.
Newcomer Jacob Robinson has also signed on to star in the mysterious thriller. Previously announced, Meghann Fahy (“White Lotus”) will be leading the cast.
Landon recently teased on Twitter, “This is my love letter to DePalma.”
Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach wrote the script.
Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Brad Fuller and Cameron Fuller — “who brought the script in to Platinum Dunes” — are producing the upcoming Drop. Sam Lerner is an executive producer.
THR notes, “The film is a Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse production for Universal.”
