Susan Sarandon (pictured above; The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Thelma And Louise, Jeff, Who Lives At Home, is jumping onboard the stop-motion animated comedy movie Hell & Back. She’ll be joining an ensemble voice cast that includes Mila Kunis, Nick Swardson, TJ Miller, Bob Odenkirk and Rob Riggle, reports Deadline.
She will voice the role of Barb the Angel. Jennifer Coolidge (the American Pie quadrilogy) and Maria Bamford (“The Comedians Of Comedy”) also have been added to the voice cast
The feature, the first from stop-motion Robot Chicken studio ShadowMachine, is an R-rated comedy about two best friends who must rescue their buddy from the depths of hell.Tommy Gianas is directing; ShadowMachine’s Corey Campodonico, Eric Blyler and Alex Bulkley are producing along with Ross Shuman, with current writing revisions by Hugh Sterbakov.
