[San Diego Comic-Con ’12] Rob Zombie To Host “Dawn Of The Con” On Thursday, July 12th

Earlier today Rob Zombie made the announcement of his new remix album Mondo Sex Head. He also shared a look at the “Big H Radio Team” from his forthcoming The Lords of Salem, the artwork of which was the faux magazine “Dig Boston” featuring Herman Jackson (Ken Foree), Heidi LaRoc (Sheri Moon Zombie) & Herman Salvador (Jeff Daniel Phillips). “Salem’s #1 radio show does it again,” said the rocker.

Now, he has announced that he will take over San Diego’s Petco Park to ring in Comic-Con as host of the first-ever official Comic-Con Opening Night Attendee Welcome Party, “Dawn of the Con”, on Thursday, July 12, 5:30 – 11PM PT. Presented by VH1, “Dawn of the Con” promises a night full of fantasy, science fiction, monsters and heavy metal for all Comic-Con attendees. Additionally, partygoers will get a sneak peek of Mondo Sex Head.

Aliens Uncovered: The Golden Record (2023): In the late 70s, the US government launched a message to our distant neighbors.

Roswell (2021): This high-flying documentary examines the July 1947 crash of a United States Army Air Forces balloon at a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico. Theories claim the crash was actually that of a flying saucer, but what is the truth?
