The single game that made me buy a Sega Saturn? Nights. Why? Because back in the day flying was a big deal. Now we have tons of games where you fly around like it’s no big deal. But back in the days of the glorious Sega Saturn, a game like Nights opened up the minds of young gamers like myself to glorious new worlds. Well, coming this fall to the PC, Playstation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade NiGHTS Into Dreams will be re-released in HD. Wondrous HD. Lots more past the break!
Some of you older folks may remember this controller:
This beast came packaged with Nights so you could have a more fluid experience with flying Nights himself around. It was also one of the first analog sticks to hit a major console.
“The SEGA Saturn offered many unique gaming experiences, and NiGHTS into dreams… stands out as one of the most recognizable titles that found a home on the system,” said Chris Olson, Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA. “We’ve gotten a lot of requests about this game over the years, and are very happy to be able to give both former Saturn owners and new players a chance to play it in its most beautiful form to date this fall.”
