The del Toro original tale is spinning into a nightmare for Dr. Ephraim Goodweather as the terrible vampire plague is spreading fast. David Lapham has done an incredible job adapting the novel thus far, offering an enthralling vampire story that ranks up there with the best of them. If you haven’t been following “The Strain”, the first collected edition was released earlier this year and you’d only be doing yourself a favor by checking it out.
