No More ‘Silent Hill HD Collection’ Patch For Xbox 360 Owners

Unfortunately for people like me who own the Xbox 360 version of the Silent Hill HD Collection, Konami has cancelled a patch that would’ve remedied a few of the numerous issues gamers have been having with the the title, including sporadic frame rate drops and audio syncing problems. PS3 owners got their patch last month, but the rest of us are going to have to put up with being left out in the cold. If it makes you feel any better, Konami apologized to their fans, saying the decision was made because of technical issues and available resources. Anyone here affected by this? Tell me your story in the comments below. We can get through this together.

Five months of waiting around with our thumbs up our asses only to get slapped in the face with this horseshit. I have no idea how accurate this information is but according to
the number of sales for the PS3 version is around 130,000 and for Xbox360 it’s 80,000. I wouldn’t put it past Konami, in all their infinite wisdom, to appease the higher grossing console sales with, from what I gather, is a sub-par patch. I will never give Konami another dime of my money. Oh, and for anyone holding their breath waiting for a SH Downpour patch you may as well give up now. Especially if you’re an Xbox360 owner. Owner? Yeah, we just got owned.

Hmm…glad I held off on buying this. Luckily I have both systems, so I’ll know to only get Silent Hill games for the PS3 now apparently. Way to screw over your 360 customers!
