‘Blade’ Isn’t Going Anywere Unless He Says So!
Sure Wesley Snipes is suing New Line Cinema and sure Blade: Trinity (review #1, #2/DVD) didn’t kick the crap out of the box office like it used to, but there’s still plenty of room for Blade to bite on TV. Reports indicate that the franchise will continue on the small screen, so don’t fret fanboys! The real question is who will we see? Snipes, Reynolds? Biel? Read on for the skinny…According to Cinescape:
“Spike TV announced the network will turn the BLADE franchise of films into a TV series for early 2006.
New Line Television and Marvel Studios will produce the show along with David Goyer. No definite word has been given yet on whether or not Goyer will write the pilot or for the series.”
There also doesn’t seem to be word on whether Snipes will return either…
