Sundance ’06: Lionsgate’s Terrifying ‘The Descent’

We’ve still got more coverage from this year’s Sundance Film Festival, which took place in Park City, Utah a few weeks back. Today we’ve added a full review for Lionsgate’s upcoming The Descent (review #1, new review), which hits theaters this August. I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing this film is, I can’t wait until you all get to see it! The Descent is Neil Marshall’s hotly anticipated follow up to his 2002 hit Dog Soldiers, which hit theaters in the UK last year. Directed by Marshall from his own script, the film tells the story of an all female caving expedition that goes terrifyingly wrong. Set in a cave system deep in the Appalachian Mountains.
