Remake of Dead of Night/Death Dream Goes ‘Zero
Odd Lot Entertainment has acquired and will produce Zero Dark Thirty, a film written by “The Grudge” and “The Grudge 2″ scribe Stephen Susco, according to the Hollywood Reporter. We’ve been informed that the film is a remake of the 1974 Canadian horror-pic Dead of Night, which is also known as ‘Death Dream’! The remake centers on a young U.S. Army soldier who returns after serving in the Mideast. As he settles into his former life, his tranquil small town is riveted by a series of strange and violent occurrences. “Zero Dark Thirty” will be produced and released through Odd Lot’s genre label, Dark Lot Entertainment, and will be directed by John Stalberg Jr.
