Tarantino’s ‘Death Proof’ Continues Casting for LA Shoot
WeinsteinCo.’s Grind House has been the center of attention as of late as Robert Rodriquez has shut down production on his 75-minute tale entitled ‘Project Terror,’ but as one shuts down the other is continuing to thrive. Quentin Tarantino’s half of the pic (titled Death Proof) is about to get underway in Los Angeles, and MTV reports that Find me Guilty” up-and-comer Cassandra Hepburn is in talks for a starring role in the film. “At least I wouldn’t die in the film. My character wouldn’t. That’s a good thing. … When I met with him, he was just this really down-to-earth, really nice, simple man who loves to make films, just like me.” Mickey Rourke and “Wolf Creek” star John Jarratt are also said to be involved in the QT effort.
