AFFF Review: MGM’s ‘Fragile: A Ghost Story’

Jaume (Darkness) Balaguero, so close and yet so far away. I’m waiting patiently for him to bring us something good. Everything he does borderlines greatness and yet somehow fallls flat on its face. Sometime this year MGM will release his latest horror film Fragile: A Ghost Story (review), and just like everything else he does, I left disappointed and screaming “Come on man, you can do better than this already!” In the film Calista Flockhart toplines as a nurse who takes a new job at a desolate children’s hospital during its closing days. She struggles to keep the kids safe and uncovers the mystery behind apparent attacks of an unknown origin that hurts the kids so that they cannot leave the premises. As screened at the Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival (AFFF).
