Guillermo del Toro Scared to Death in ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’
Director Guillermo del Toro received the fright of his life while filming his fantasy horror pic Pan’s Labyrinth, which stars Ivana Baquero, Doug Jones, Sergi López, Ariadna Gil, Maribel Verdú, Álex Angulo, Roger Casamajor, Sebastián Haro, Mina Lira, Federico Luppi, Ivan Massagué, Chema Ruiz, Manolo Solo and Milo Taboada. During the shoot he was attacked by some sort of creepy beast — read on to see pics! In this fairy tale, a small family in Spain moves into an old house in 1943 after the rise of Fascism. Their eldest daughter, at age 12, falls in love with a fawn that lives in the old ruined labyrinth which resides behind their new decrepit home…
