‘Robocop’ Remake Still in MGM’s Cards?
This afternoon AICN posted a piece of a press release from MGM Studios that lists a bunch of potential upcoming projects – one them is a remake of ROBOCOP. No details were given, but the fact that this is included in a release confirms the validity of the rumors floating around the web this past year. More soon. The original ’87 movie took place in a dystopic & crime ridden Detroit, where a terminally wounded cop returns to the force as a powerful cyborg with submerged memories haunting him.
