The Red Pyramid Featured On First ‘Silent Hill: Revelation 3D’ Poster!

Cine1 has landed what appears to be the first international one-sheet for the hotly anticipated Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, the Michael J. Bassett-directed sequel Open Road will release in theaters October 26. The poster depicts the Red Pyramid, his massive blade, and a horde of undead arms reaching out.

Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Sean Bean, Radha Mitchell, Deborah Kara Unger, Carrie-Anne Moss, Malcolm McDowell all star in the sequel that’s based on the acclaimed survival horror video game franchise by KONAMI.

For years, Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.

Removed by request of Open Road.

I hate what they did with the text and I’m getting a weird “Uncle Sam Wants YOU” vibe from it, but I’m still pumped for more hot monster on human action!

      Hells yes! XD

    • UndeadRaziel

YES! Love me some Pyramid Head!

  • Taboo

    Looks good!

    Epic poster.

I wasn’t a fan of the original Silent Hill. The creepy, haunting atmosphere was just great, but man did that film feel boring. I almost fell asleep in the theater a few times.

So far, Revelation looks a lot better, and I’m going to give it a try.

Well, I love the first film, I’m excited for this one, but I hate this poster! It’s kinda generic and gimmicky 3D stuff.

    that poster is sickkkk

what the hell does Silent Hill have to do with the ‘undead’? Oh well, hopefully it will bring in a wider audience.

i’m very excited for this movie. i LOVE the first film and i liked it’s foggy/creepy, simple and EFFECTIVE poster but i don’t really dig this poster. it’s so the opposite of spooky/creepy or effective. don’t get me wrong, i fucking love Pyramid head and i’m glad he’s (it seems) going to have more scenes in this movie!

    • Aaron Emery

Yea, it kinda seems like the (poster) style that would be used for a Resident Evil flick or something.

Red Pyramid? Really guys, it’s Pyramid Head. Thanks for DJBlack for mentioning it’s real name. And the poster isn’t showing the undead, it’s showing the souls trapped in Silent Hill, in Toluca Prison to be exact. I think they’re going to have a Silent Hill 2 moment where Allessa is getting chased through the prison by Pyramid Head. Can’t wait for this movie!
