Pete Travis’s ultra-violent comic adaption, Dredd, hits the big screen in a few weeks on September 21st. Lionsgate partnered with publisher 2000AD to deliver a comic book prequel to the film revealing the origins of the villainess, Ma-Ma. The short issue is written by longtime “Judge Dredd” writer and editor, Matt Smith, with art from a fellow “Dredd” veteran, Henry Flint. If you’ve got an itch for judgement but don’t feel like waiting until the 21st, hit the jump for the free “Dredd” prequel comic.
