Juno Temple (pictured above; Jack And Diane, The Dark Night Rises, Killer Joe), Joe Anderson (The Grey, The Crazies) and Kelli Garner (Bully) are the latest actors to join the supernatural fantasy/thriller Horns. They join Daniel Radcliffe and Max Minghella in the cast.
Based on the novel by Joe Hill (Stephen King’s son), Horns is being directed by Alexandre Aja (High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes, Mirrors, Piranha 3D). Horns has been adapted by Keith Bunin (In Treatment).
In the film, “Radcliffe will play Ig Perrish, who awakens one morning to find horns starting to grow from his own head. He soon realizes their power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their impulses — an effective tool in his quest to discover the truth about his late girlfriend’s tragic murder.”
Shooting is slated to begin this fall. Pic will be financed by Red Granite Pictures. Red Granite will co-produce the film with Mandalay Pictures. Producers are Red Granite’s Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland, Mandalay Pictures president Cathy Schulman and Adam Stone. Joe Hill and Red Granite’s Joe Gatta are executive producers.
