We’ve got an exclusive trailer for Ferocious, from director Robert Cuffley. The film is described as “a nail-biting thriller about a popular television actress, Leigh Parrish who tries to secretly retrieve a sexually incriminating videotape from a seedy nightclub.”
The film stars Amanda Crew (Charlie St. Cloud), Michael Eklund (The Divide), Kim Coates (“Sons Of Anarchy”, Black Hawk Down), Dustin Milligan and Katie Boland. Ferocious plays again at the Calgary International Film Festival (calgaryfilm.com) Saturday September 22 at 9:30pm at Calgary’s Globe Theatre. The entire cast will be in attendance.
Ferocious was produced by Carolyn McMaster, CHAOS a film company and Anand Ramayya, Karma Film. A theatrical release is set for late Fall 2012. Hit up their Facebook and Twitter if you like! And head inside for the trailer, stills, poster and longer synopsis!
“The future looks positively rosy for Leigh. Having landed a role on a soap that has exploded across North America, Leigh is a star whose ascension seems to have no ceiling. On a return trip to revisit her small town roots, Leigh engages with local press, wows the crowds and has the whole town abuzz with her name. But the truth behind her return home is not one shared with family, the media, or even her manager, Callum. Late at night, she will return to her former place of employment – Shakers – a grungy night club. There’s something there she left behind that could put an immediate end to her career. And she’s not leaving until she gets it.”
