MPI And Fantastic Films Plant ‘The Cherry Tree’

MPI and Fantastic Films have struck a deal to produce three genre films, per Screen Daily, The two-year deal triggers principal photography The Cherry Tree in the fourth quarter. David Keating (Wake Wood) will direct.

MPI’s Greg Newman said, “Fantastic films have amazing taste and a great understanding of genre filmmaking and we look forward to our collaboration with them. Together, we make an incredibly strong development and production team, and are very likeminded about the type of films and filmmakers we intend to work with. There are several amazing projects on the horizon and we look forward to jumping in immediately.
