Final ‘V/H/S’ Poster Shines Down On “Tuesday The 17th”!

V/H/S is now available on various On Demand platforms (a month before its October 5 theatrical release!)! While iTunes (AppleTV) has it, it’s also hitting Amazon, Charter, Comcast, Google Play, DirecTV, Playstation 3, SuddenLink, Time Warner, VUDU and Xbox Zune via Magnet Releasing. You can find out exactly where to rent it by clicking here.

The filmmakers include Adam Wingard (You’re Next, A Horrible Way to Die, Pop Skull), Simon Barrett (You’re Next, Dead Birds, Red Sands), Ti West (The House of the Devil, The Roost, The Innkeepers), David Bruckner (The Signal), Joe Swanberg (Silver Bullets), Glenn McQuaid (I Sell the Dead), along with YouTube sensations Radio Silence. Now, Moviefone has gotten their hands on the last of the specialty posters. This one is by Esad Ribic of “Loki” and “Silver Surfer” fame.

Wow. This is one of the best posters but Amateur Night. I just wish this segment was as riveting as this poster.

*but Amateur Night is my favorite. (can’t edit my comment lol)

For the love of god, can I just buy one of these posters please!

  • That_One_Guy

Wow! That poster is badass! I want it. I can’t wait to see V/H/S.

Don’t set your expectations too high. I was really looking forward to it too. It is really really bad.

It’s not THAT bad actually. The problem is that Amateur Night and 10/31/98 are really good and the middle 3 stories are pretty limp.

Was wondering if we were going to have a poster for all the segments, this was the only one remaining.

I saw the movie last Sunday, and I must say I really enjoyed it.
I really hope we get to have VHS 2, and maybe more after that x).

There’s no end to the original and awesome segments that can be made, that, and we should get a real backstory to those VHS tapes, what they are, who owns them, why, how, etc etc.

Besides, doing a lot of segments is also an aopportunity for new and awesome directos to come up with something great, I can see this formula working and spawning a few movies with thrilling and original segments, just like the one portrayed in the poster… But I won’t spoilt it for ya ;P.

I’m waiting for theatrical release, can’t wait. from reading a comment here, sounds great. I’m a little more old school and do not care for an origins story, I like it when movies/stories leave that to the imagination, nowadays too many “how it began” explaining everything and leaving more people disappointed. Kinda like when you don’t see the monster, your mind makes up far more wicked shit, same thing. The unexplained is far more interesting, but sounds like they do have an opportunity to make this a franchise, I’ll have to wait just a tiny bit longer. thanks for postings, gives me hope for a good horrorific time to come and maybe even more.
