[TV] Next On “American Horror Story: Asylum” Teaser For Episode 2 “Tricks And Treats”

American Horror Story: Asylum,” premiered tonight and I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet! Still, there’s a promo available for next week’s episode – “Tricks And Treats” – and it looks pretty cool. Things seem a little more intense than they did last year, and this teaser actually has me a little bit curious about catching up to tonight’s episode just so I can see what the hell is going on.

The new season is set at an East Coast asylum for the criminally insane in 1964 and revolves around Jessica Lange’s new character — a nun — and her boss at the institution, played by James Cromwell. Clea Duvall, Chris Zylka, Joseph Fiennes, Chloe Sevigny, The Voice’s Adam Levine, Mark Consuelos and newcomer Lizzie Brochere round out the cast. Other returning cast members set to play new roles include Sarah Paulson, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe.

In Episode 2 – “Tricks And Treats” (airing October 24th at 10:00 pm e/p), “The staff summon an exorcist to deal with a possessed farm boy, while Sister Jude’s dark past is revealed.” Head inside for the preview. Also, let us know what you thought of tonight’s episode!

I love this promo it makes me so excited for the season! Episode 1 didn’t disappoint and now I know that I will love this season probably as much as the first 1!

very good ep tonight. the only thing i didn’t like is them using (so prominantly) the score from CARRIE (one of my all time favorite scores ever). it took me out of the show every time it was used. but again, great ep!

At what point did they use the score from Carrie? Just curious.

      • djblack1313

al343806, the CARRIE score is (from what i remember) when Evan Peters is brought to asylum and several parts of the show after that.

The episode tonight wasn’t as good as the premiere of the walking dead, but it was still pretty good. Next weeks looks a lot better. I’m just glad it’s finally running.

Simply amazing…i fucking love this show!!!

ep 1 was bat shit insane. I love that they throw so much at you at the beginning and slowly unravel the narrative threads over the season (or thats my assumption based on Season 1). there is so much going on here that it difficult to tell whats going on.
    Evil Nun?
    Evil Dr?
    Man made Monster(s)?
    Crazy serial killer?
So much insanity… very fitting with the theme. Bring on ep 2.

Its been a great week for TV watching horror fans.

Great episode last night! I honestly think it was much better than the premier of The Walking Dead, but I’m not the biggest fan of that she (season 2 kinda killed it for me)

  • Taboo

I enjoyed last nights episode. Can’t wait for more 🙂

  • K-Dogg

It didn’t wow me like a premiere should, but it will get better, good set-up.

The thing I loved the most about last nights episode is how completely different the storyline was from last season but somehow it still felt like AHS. The show is really back and I’m already hooked! I actually love how the series integrates music from classic horror films into the series as a nod to fans. All of the actors were brilliant leaving no memory of who they played last year. The only word I can use is the truly overused Epic!
