Kurt Russell, Jennifer Carpenter And Richard Jenkins Saddle Up For ‘Bone Tomahawk’!!

Whoa! Looks like Bone Tomahawk could be pretty awesome! Per Variety, Screenwriter S. Craig Zahler (the upcoming CPark Chan-wook film The Brigands of Rattleborge) is set to make his feature directorial debut with Caliber Media Co.’s horror Western Bone Tomahawk which will star Kurt Russell (The Thing), Peter Sarsgaard (Jarhead), Richard Jenkins (The Cabin In The Woods) and Jennifer Carpenter (“Dexter”).

The film is set to shoot in New Mexico in the spring and the foreign rights are on the market today at AFM. The brutally violent, character-driven film follows a sheriff (Russell), a gunslinger, a befuddled oldster (Jenkins) and a cowboy (Sarsgaard) as they attempt to rescue a group of captives (including Carpenter) from a band of cannibalistic troglodytes.

Definitely interested!!
