[TV] Next On “American Horror Story: Asylum” Episode 2×05 “I Am Anne Frank, Pt. 2”

FX will conclude their American Horror Story: Asylum two-parter next Wednesday.

We’ve just now added the promo for Episode 2×05 “I Am Anne Frank, Pt. 2”, which will air November 14. I’m dying to know more about our new guest, and her relationship with the insane doctor (played by James Cromwell).

In the episode, “Sister Jude employs a renowned Nazi Hunter to gather evidence against Arden. Kit makes a surprising confession. Bloody Face is unmasked.” Written by Brad Falchuck; directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon.

    **SPOILERS** obviously

Tonight’s episode was pretty good, definitely better than last weeks in terms of progression. I like where it’s going with the “things” outside, also Zachary Quinto’s Dr. Thredson is becoming a very interesting/complicated character who’s motives I’m not really sure of yet. 4 episodes in and I’m really digging this season.

  • Nothing333

Agreed. This is the only show I watch when it airs on tv. Addictive

This season is so disturbing I can’t believe the shit they get away with. I’m not saying it in a bad way I watch with my jaw wide open. I can’t wait for the woman in white crying black tears in all the teaser promos. I think it’ll have something to do with Dr. Arden destroying the statue. I can’t believe what that sick fuck did to Shelley.

  • Ditamydear

I am really looking forward to finding out what Dr. Thredson’s story is, and what his true motivations are. I like his character and I want to keep believing that he truly wants to help, but there must be more going on under the surface. Can’t wait for next weeks pieces of the puzzle.

AMAZING FUCKING EPISODE!!! i admit i haven’t loved this season thus far but this most recent ep was perfection!! Franka Potenta as Anne Franke is flawless. she’s such an awesome actress. and her storyline w/ the doctor is fascinating. also it’s this ep that now has me 100% invested in Lana’s character. as a gay man myself watching her “therapy” scenes made me sick to my stomach. knowing fellow gays/lesbians had to go through this torture broke my heart and had me appreciating so much that i live in these current times.

Yea, that scene with Lana, Dr. Thredson, and the other guy was horribly disturbing. Even more so because that is how this was treated back then, homosexuality was a “mental illness” that people tried to cure. The tears in Lana’s eyes near the end while sitting alone in that chair was absolutely heartbreaking and I felt sick for her.

    • BelaManiac

Agreed! It was such a hard scene to watch. I couldn’t imagine having to do that as “therapy” no matter what I’m into to. Great episode for sure and so excited for the second part!

Wicked badass killer episode last night!! That was hard for me to watch as well djblack, Im straight but to try to change someone like that?! Thats fucked up! I cant wait till that doctor gets his just desserts! This show is getting better every week!

  • Mr.Mirage

I could grind this show to a fine powder and inject it. Totally hooked.

Loving this season so far. The feud between Sister Jude and Dr. Arden is just great. They’re both aware of each other’s dirty laundry, and Sister Jude is going out of her way to sabotage Arden. It’ll be interesting to see who goes down first!
