‘RoboCop’ Licensing Video Features Concept Art and Interviews!

Our friends at Collider discovered a super weird featurette for MGM’s forthcoming RoboCop that’s being used for selling licensing for related products.

It features concept art for multiple generations of RoboCop’s suit, a re-imagined ED-209, unmmanned drones and futuristic weaponry, the video also includes commentary from star Joel Kinnaman and director Padilha, along with producer Eric Newman, VFX Supervisor Jamie Price and Production Designer Martin Whist.

Also starring Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton, Gary Oldman, Abbie Cornish, Jay Baruchel and Jackie Earle Haley, RoboCop opens in theaters February 7th, 2014.

I liked the “Call of Duty style shootouts” part, if it was half of what Tropa de Elite part 1 and 2 (elite squad) was, then we are in for a treat. =)

This film seems promising. Those first two films are classic,to me at least.I like the designs and concepts I’ve seen on here, though that suit of his looked kinda boring.I hope this remake is at least as violent as that original movie.

I’m really excited for this movie, but yes I also hope they keep it violent like the first one. Hopefully they don’t stray too far from the original but should be interesting regardless, seems like a good cast too :)
