J-metal band BABYMETAL is back with a new song entitled “Ijime, Dame, Zettai (No more bullying)”. The song will be available on Jan. 9th, 2013.
For those of you who forgot, BABYMETAL is a Japanese metal group that is fronted by three teenage girls (keep in mind that I’m using teenage loosely as they’re barely into their teens). As for the song, it’s not terrible. If you don’t like it, that’s perfectly fine (I’m not going to rush out to buy an album). But I feel that any attempt to convince the youth to listen to more metal should be lauded. So I’m going to say thanks BABYMETAL for convincing hordes of Japanese teens (who buy the most ridiculous things imaginable) to blast metal like it’s their job.
