After seven long seasons Showtime’s “Dexter” comes to a boiling point on December 16th. We’ve now scored 3 clips from the season’s finale, along with the episode promo.

The season has taken a left turn after the season 6 finale, where Deb catches Dexter murdering one of his prey, and professes her love for him to a psychiatrist. Everyone thought we’d see a Bonnie and Clyde revival in the seventh season, only it’s happening with serial killer Hannah McKay, played by Yvonne Strahovski, instead of Deb. I’m excited to see the breaking point this coming Sunday!

The episode, 07.12 “Surprise, Motherf**ker!”, “LaGuerta is on the verge of exposing Dexter and his killer ways, while he does his best to cover for himself and Debra, and maintain the life he’s created.

I’ve enjoyed this season, what about you guys?

Yeah, I’ve really loved this season so far. I say so far because you never know what the last episode of a season holds!

    Spoilers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It pains me to say this, but this season has been the worst so far. The story has become bland. They have used the same story over and over again. Dexter falls in love with some, that someone brings out something new in him, then the relationship ends. I actually loved the Dexter/Debra relationship idea. Now we just have Dexter and another one-off season relationship. I’ve stuck with this show for seven seasons so I’ll watch until the end, but the show is getting stale. I’ve also been disappointed in the way they have been killing off characters and story lines so abruptly. Mike Anderson, Travis Marshall, and George are killed out of nowhere. Hannah’s relationship with Dexter lasted like 4 episodes then they ended that. Joey stole the evidence and that story line has basically disappeared. Isaak’s death was just silly. Sal Price is introduced as a possible love interest then is gone in a flash. They need to slow down! Nothing has stood out about this season other than the possibility of LaGuerta catching on to Dexter. Huge disappointment. There were glimmers of good things until Hannah was introduced which killed the dexter/debra relationship possibility. Really disappointed.
