Check Out Dozens Of Artistic Fan Made ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’ Posters!!

Vice and Lionsgate have teamed up to celebrate the return of Leatherface on January 4th. In honor of the rebirth of Leatherface and this newest installement of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise the site asked some of their buddies to put their own spin on the franchise and the iconic Leatherface.

Below you’ll find 20 fan made posters in the “Gallery of Horrors,” a series inspired by Texas Chainsaw 3D.

Texas Chainsaw 3D picks up decades later and hundreds of miles away from the original massacre seen in Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. In it, a young woman named Heather learns that she has inherited a Texas estate from a grandmother she never knew she had. After embarking on a road trip with friends to uncover her roots, she finds she is the sole owner of a lavish, isolated Victorian mansion. But her newfound wealth comes at a price as she stumbles upon a horror that awaits her in the mansion’s dank cellars.

i actually like or love all of these! great job!

  • Droolbear

My favorite is the one with the shape of Texas and the eye in it.

    • djblack1313

the eye one, while good, is too similar to JEEPERS CREEPERS.

      • En_Noir

        you’re joking right?

          En_Noir prove me wrong.

Well i mean it’s a matter of opinion. but realistically the only thing that is similar is the fact that they both involve and eye and some stitching.. One is a photoshop manipulation, while the job the other is traditionally painted with acrylics and oils(with PS touchups). Neither really share the same colour palette, or artist direction. I dunno i just don’t see any real artistic similarity.

    These all kick ass!

Wow, these are excellent! Next to that Texas eye, I like the chainsaw made of bones, but they’re all really good.

All of them are great and a lot better than what we got (which I also liked). Sorrow doesn’t grow in Texas though.

Really nice. Better than most of the generic photoshop jobs we get today for flicks. My favourite is the stitched eye. Reminds me of the old Hammer poster’s.
