Christian Svensson, Capcom’s Corporate Officer and Vice President, has taken to the company’s official blog to ask what fans want from the studio regarding their digital releases. The survey is comprehensive, covering pretty much every series the company has developed, from Dino Crisis to Mega Man, Street Fighter, and of course, Resident Evil. If you’ve been patiently waiting for a digital installment in the Resident Evil franchise, like say, a port of Resident Evil: Outbreak or a new Outbreak/multiplayer style RE game, then here’s your chance to let your voice be heard. Interestingly, they also included “New game types in the RE universe (strategy, tactics, RPG, etc.)” in the list of games you can vote for. A Resident Evil RPG, you say? Where can I sign up for something like that?
Unfortunately, should you choose Dino Crisis as one of your favorite Capcom IPs, the follow-up question only asks if you’d purchase a port of one or more of the first three games — no Dino Crisis 4. That’s too bad.
