See The New Variant ‘Evil Dead’ Poster
The below image features producers Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert, proud fathers of the greatest horror franchise ever, standing in front of the newest Evil Dead one-sheet. It’s the same one as before, only blood red. Will it be the most terrifying film you will ever experience? I hope so!
Fede Alvarez directs the new vision with Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore, Jessica Lucas and presumably Bruce Campbell all starring.
“In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.”
HE arrives on April 12.

I like the simplicity of this poster and I’m glad that there’s been a lot of marketing happening for this film; I hope it does well. I can’t wait until April

I’m not sure who “he” is, but I think he was just referencing one of the pages of the Naturan Demanto A.K.A. Necronomicon, where it says “He is watching”.

All my doubts for this film are pretty much gone now.
i’m practically foaming at the mouth with excitement over this movie but i never really cared for this poster. i DO agree w/ my buddy WalkingDeadGuy regarding the cool simplicity of the poster. i do like that aspect. i also very much like the red added to it.
Totally agree with you djblack1313. I dig the all-red of the poster. Possibly referring to how bloody this movie is going to be!
I cannot think of one reason why I wouldn’t see this movie. The most anticipated movie for me since Cabin In The Woods.

I’m excited about this movie 100% but their is a part of me that feels that I’m going to be let down big time.
I will sell one of my kids, nay both for that poster.
I really believe this remake will deliver the goods.
I like the poster, it gives the nice effect of not knowing what the face looks like. Which you can guess would likely be demonish.
This poster calls for a contest when one is able to be held for a copy of it. Love to see 1st place get one that was signed by Bruce, Sam and all the main actors involved. 2nd could just get the poster. Maybe I shouldn’t get one I’d only drool over it lol. Should a few people go as Deadites to the midnight showing. I would love to do that or at least some evil dead shirt and props.
I like to poster, because its not “to in your face” it has a little mystery to it and creates curiosity for new comers that aren’t up to speed with Evil Dead in the first place.
