Nathan Phillips (Wolf Creek) and Daniel Henshall (Snowtown) will star in first time feature writer-director Zak Hilditch’s These Final Hours, which is just now entering post production.
Now Scree Daily is reporting that XYZ has picked up worldwide rights to the film. Celluloid Nightmares is set to handle sales at the upcoming EFM. Hilditch’s short, “Transmission,” screened in Tribeca in 2011. His collaborator on that project, Liz Kearney, is producing These Final Hours.
In the film, “Phillips plays a self-obsessed young guy who makes his way to the party-to-end-all-parties on the last day on Earth but ends up saving the life of a young girl who’s searching for her father.”
The cast also includes Australian actresses Jessica De Gouw (“Kath & Kimderella”) and Sarah Snook (Lionsgate’s Jessabelle).
The film shot in Perth last year.
