The Super Bowl Spot For ‘World War Z’ Basically Just A Shorter Version Of The Trailer

I didn’t hate the World War Z trailer, but I was sort of underwhelmed by it despite how huge it looks. I just don’t like the zombie hordes all that much. This Super Bowl spot doesn’t change much about that, in fact I’m not sure if I saw any new shots. Let me know if you catch any!

Directed by Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace), the adaptation of Max Brooks’ “World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War” stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale, Matthew Fox and David Morse.

In theaters June 21, 2013, “The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.

I can’t remember the trailer but I think there are a few (very at that) scenes in there. Not sure though. Anyway, this movie should be the one we’re all talking about heading into 2013. Instead Evil Dead stole the limelight away. Let’s hope Evil Dead becomes the best horror movie this year and World War Z close to second if not equal.

ess EZ, yeah there’s a few new scenes in this. EVIL DEAD actually didn’t steal focus form WWZ, it seems the majority of people who have seen the WWZ trailer hated it/hated that instead of it being like the book (WALKING DEAD type zombies) they made it a 28 DAYS LATER infection/zombie movie. so people (it seems) haven’t been into the WWZ movie from the get go.

personally i think WWZ looks freaking awesome!!
