Jane Levy Not Afraid To Sign On ‘In A Dark Place’

Looks like Jane Levy (“Suburgatory”) has a taste for horror. Fresh off the upcoming Evil Dead remake she’s set to star (per THR) in In A Dark Place for Gold Circle with Roy Lee (The Ring, the upcoming Oldboy remake) producing and Bharat Nalluri (Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day, second unit on Alien Vs. Predator and Resident Evil) directing.

The thriller centers on a young American woman who moves to England to become a governess of a porcelain doll, which the family treats as its own son. When the family leaves for a holiday, the woman begins to think the doll is haunted and may be alive.

Gold Circle plans to start production on the film in May.

Wow Jane is beautiful. Its great to see awesome actresses take on more horror roles. And this sounds like it could be a good one!

Definitely a star to watch. Chances are we’re going to see her in more movies after the possible success of Evil Dead.

AWESOME! i love Levy in SUBURGATORY and from the looks of the trailers she’s going to be amazing in EVIL DEAD! i’m definitely a fan of hers and i look forward to this new movie from her. she’s good at comedic stuff (SUBURGATORY) but really seems to be awesome at dramatic/horror/thriller roles too! and she’s fucking beautiful!:)

Gotta love evil doll stories. Also somewhat reminds me of The Innocents/The Turn of the Screw. No opinion on the actress as of yet, but those eyes are enchanting.
