Austrian director Ulrich Seidl (the Paradise trilogy) is dipping his toes in horror to produce the film Ich seh/Ich seh which will be co-directed by his wife Veronika Franz and her collaborator Severin Fiala, per Screen Daily.
Seidl told the pub, “It will be a mixture of auteur film/genre film and the story is set in midsummer, so, hopefully, we will be able to shoot it this year.”
Franz and Fiala’s perviously directed Kern, a documentary about the controversial Austrian actor-director Peter Kern. This will be their first fictional outing.
