“Gerard (Christian Slater) leads three other astronauts on a mission,when a meteor suddenly collides with their space station putting the lives of the entire crew in danger. Those on board quickly learn that spores from the meteorite can replicate cell structure, reproduce, and mutate. Ava, the only female astronaut becomes infected, showing signs of pregnancy at a rapid rate. Within 36 hours she gives birth to a creature that mutates into the life form of another crew member. As the astronauts begin to experience this sinister presence, the virus spreads and Gerard urges for the killing of Ava. The alien being targets the crew one by one, leaving those remaining to destroy it before all are killed.“

Basically, The Thing but in space. Glad to see Hollywood hasn’t lost its creative spark.
It’s official, Christian Slater’s career is over.
Um, it feels like I pretty much saw the whole movie in that trailer,,, but oh well. Not gonna judge to early till I see the conclusion in there next one.

Seems like The Thing with hint of Supernova.
I love sci-fi, but the plot here is a razor thin retread and Christian Slater doesn’t exactly inspire confidence these days. I’ll probably see it whenever it ends up on Netflix instant and be sort of underwhelmed.

i agree that it seems like a SUPERNOVA, PROMETHEUS & PANDORUM hybrid.
Not going to knock it just yet. I like that it looks to be using mostly practical effects which work well with Sci-fi films.
Would love to see Slater actually make a comeback. The man was awesome.
