Three New Clips From IFC’s ‘The Jeffrey Dahmer Files’ Describe The Remains Of His Victims
I’ll be damned if this thing doesn’t look a lot more interesting than I thought it would. Then again, I’m not sure what I was expecting. Serial killer documentaries never fail to fascinate me, and this one’s blend of recreation looks less annoying than most.
I’ve also included the previously released first official clip (and trailer) for The Jeffrey Dahmer Files, which is getting a VOD and limited theatrical run on today, February 15th, so you can be thorough in your VOD decision making.
Chris James Thompson’s Dahmer Files is “An experimental documentary film that uses archival footage, interviews, and fictionalized scenarios to tell the story of the people around Jeffrey Dahmer during the summer of his arrest in 1991.”

I’m intrigued. I usually don’t like the fictionalized acting in some of these types of documentaries, but I guess it’s really the only way to depict how some of the stuff went down. I’m a sucker for docu’s like this.
