There Just Aren’t Enough Games About Astral Projection; Let’s Change That With ‘Whispering Willows’

Astral Projection has always fascinated me. I have friends who swear by it, saying they’ve experienced it before through vivid dreams and out-of-body experiences. Whether or not you believe it’s possible in the real world, there’s no denying how fantastic a feature it could be in a video game. I’m surprised it isn’t something that’s been used more often, but at least there’s one game that’s taking full advantage of it, and that’s the indie horror puzzle title Whispering Willows. It’s grim and atmospheric, while still being quirky and colorful, and its focus on storytelling and puzzle-solving should satisfy survival horror fans. Learn more about it after the break.

If you’re interested in finding out more, you can learn all there is to know about Whispering Willows on its Steam Greenlight page or you can support its Kickstarter campaign.
