See ‘Stitches’ Make A Disgusting Balloon Animal In This New Clip!

It was recently announced that the hilarious and insanely bloody Stitches (read the review) is finally getting a U.S. release. Until then, the pic has already hit UK home video. The distributor has sent Bloody7 a look at the scene that won “best death” at FrightFest 2012. in it, star Ross Noble makes a balloon animal out of a boy’s intestines. It’s amazing.

World renowned British standup comedian Ross Noble stars as a murderous kids’ birthday party clown for Director Conor McMahon (Dead Meat, The Disturbed) in Stitches, debuting with special April Fools’ Day screenings in select cities on April 1, 2013. For fans who can’t catch the rampage on the big screen, the must-see Stitches will be available on VOD, Digital Download, Blu-ray and DVD on April 2 from MPI /Dark Sky Films.

Years after a cruel kids’ prank during a birthday party for 8-year-old Tommy (Tommy Knight, Doctor Who, The Sarah Jane Adventures) left hired clown Richard “Stitches” Grindle (Ross Noble) dead on the kitchen floor, the childhood friends gather to plan a birthday bash to end all bashes. But they haven’t counted on the degenerate jester rising from the grave to seek vengeance on the children who mocked him and caused his grisly, untimely end. Now Tommy and his teenage friends are on the run from an undead jokester who’s ready to use every trick in the book (and many that aren’t) to exact his revenge. McMahon delivers a delirious slasher epic, a hilariously twisted and blood-soaked tale of one very bad clown with a talent for making balloon animals – but with one very hideous difference.

I have seen countless horror flicks… I have NEVER EVER seen a balloon animal made out of intestines! Very creative.

Also watch “Machete” and “Story of Ricky” for intestine-related creativity !

      • diapers

Oh yes! I’ve seen both of these. Very good use of intestines. Story of Riki is one of my all-time favorites. From what I remember, Dead Snow has an intestines as rope scene as well.

    • Inside-the-Fire

A long time ago, I believe it was common practice for balloons to be made of intestines, though I’m not sure of that.

Y’know what? Fuck gritty realism and “grounded” movies! These clips make me want a return(or revival) of the more imaginative aspects of horror.

    • dr.lamb

I am so with you, I am in fact preaching the same here from time to time. Bring on the fun and the fantasy ! “Grounded” horror is okay, but it had its time, give us diversity !

  • daruckus

Reminds me of classic Freddy. This film isn’t scary at all but I had to watch it a second time just because of the kills. And for its micro budget they do very well with the death scenes. Give the McMahon more money for a sequel!

  • STRIK9

This shit sounds like that masters of horror episode “scream for ice cream” where the clown ice cream truck driver is killed on accident by some neighborhood kids and..”but they haven’t counted on the degenerate jester rising from the grave to seek vengeance on the children who mocked him and caused his grisly, untimely end” lol! Same shit.

    • dr.lamb

Hey, I love that episode !

      • dr.lamb

Damn, I just confused it with the ice cream truck driver episode of “Tales from the Crypt”.

  • Aaron Emery

This movie sucked, like really bad.

You should re-watch it… while baked!
