Let’s See How ‘Resident Evil: Revelations HD’ Looks On The Xbox 360 Versus The 3DS

We’ve been seeing a lot of Resident Evil: Revelations HD lately, but there’s still one question left on many fans’ minds: how will this version compare to the original? Now we can answer that too, thanks to a comparison video from Nintend2TV. See how the high definition port stacks up to the handheld version after the jump.

Resident Evil: Revelations releases on May 21 in North America and May 24 across Europe for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC.

WOW…it looks better on the 3ds…its portable…AND its already out and costs $30 less…I know what I am buying…

Damn, thought they might’ve fixed the loading door thing. That’s the only problem I had with the game was the loading door. I guess game technology hasn’t moved THAT fast yet. I agree, Chad, it does look better on the 3DS lol. I wonder if the PS3 version looks better than the 360 version. Not that it would matter to me, I’d get the PS3 version either way.

HUH? How can you guys think it looks better on the 3DS, are you watching this video on your phone??? Watch it on a PC and enlarge the window to full screen, it’s clear that the lines are smoothed out and there is clearer detail in the 360 version. The colors look more vibrant on the 3DS, but that can be adjusted on the TV set with the HD version to look just the same. Seriously guys…

Yeah the 360 version is way more clear for sure.

Agreed. The 360 version is at a significantly higher resolution and the lighting is improved. The 3DS version does look awfully warm. It looks cozy, kinda makes me want to cuddle under a blanket with a hot cup of cocoa. Mmmmmmmm

    360 is better lol
