Enough With This ‘Pacific Rim’ Monster Sh*t!

Because this is actually a pic of some giant monster poop, see? Also Warner Bros. may want to slow down a bit on all these images. We get it – the monsters are big. Anyway here’s another image for Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim. This time they’ve sent out a pic of this pile with the caption “#Kaiju excrement contaminates city.” Kaiju are the monsters in the film, which are put to bay by giant robotos built by humans played by Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Robert Kazinsky, Ron Perlman, Max Martini, Clifton Collins, Jr., Burn Gorman, Larry Joe Campbell, Diego Klattenhoff, and Brad William Henke. I can only imagine that we’ll be getting some robot pics once the Kaiju ones run dry.

In theaters July 12, “When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes-a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)-who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

That’s childish. They just wanted to trump the poop scene in “Jurassic Park”.

  • djblack1313

yeah, WTF?! this pic is completely stupid.

  • Aaron Emery

I REALLY hope this movie doesn’t have poop jokes.

  • lucie-with-a-gun

    merchandizing merchandizing merchandizing.

  • JonOfTheShred

Would rather have 15 more daily updates with pictures of kaiju feces than see any more forced articles on Evil Dead. (Unless it’s about Army of Darkness II, of course.)

  • DarrelDreadful

Im honestly starting to get a little confused about this movie a little bit.

  • djblack1313

what’s disturbing is they spelled Philippines wrong!!! i hope this is fan made. if they are misspelling things in an official picture release we may be in trouble.

    • Aaron Emery

That’s hilarious, I didn’t even see that! Judging by the quality I would say it’s either fan made or purely promotional.

  • Canucklehead

Cant have big monsters without big monster poop.

Damn, I read the synopsis of this movie and I can only think of Neon Genesis Evangelion… They change the names and stuff but, hey, the ideas are the same. lol
