Want A “Fun Size” Version Of The ‘World War Z’ Trailer? Try This TV Spot!

Paramount has issued a new TV spot for Marc Forster’s World War Z, their zombie movie raising the dead on June 21. It’s pretty much the same thing as the trailer but only takes 25% of the time.

Starring Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale, Matthew Fox and David Morse, the one-sheet displays a mile-high piling of rotting, decaying zombies attacking a helicopter.

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop a pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.

Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.

i’m so excited for this but i still think it’s funny that they aren’t showing the infected/zombies NOR are they even mentioning the words zombies or infected in any of the trailers/tv spots. they clearly are trying to do a bait & switch.

I’m really NOT excited about this.

This film just seems with all the re-shoots like they kept trying to fix it so much that they broke the shit out of it.

Add to that the pg-13 rating and this looks like the pre-school version of 28 Days Later with may be a few cool action scenes.

But I could be wrong. Or I could just be bitter that the awesome looking zombie flick Re-Kill still hasn’t come out after 2 freakin’ years. They don’t even have the comments enabled on the Facebook page so I can curse at them.

I completely forgot about Re-Kill. Damn you. :) I really wanted to see that one.

I am very pumped for this. I always wanted to see a large scale zombie film with chaotic scenes. Bring it on – in my book it fits the blockbuster term perfectly.

    Not excited.

I want to be excited about this movie but the more I see the less I like.

This movie will probably be a love it or hate it ordeal. I’m very excited for WWZ personally. I was one of the few who actually enjoyed I Am Legend, and this seems similar in some ways.
