Rockstar’s ‘Manhunt’ Stalks PSN May 14th

Rockstar Games has been a consistent source of truly gritty gaming experiences over the years. Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne — they’re all ultra-violent story-driven games that aren’t quite like anything else out there. They were undeniably dark, yet they pale in comparison to the controversial stealth horror Manhunt series. It never really found the critical or commercial reception required to become a successful series, but that didn’t keep it from finding a substantial cult following.

Soon, you’ll be able to sneak up behind and suffocate more unsuspecting goons with plastic bags when the original Manhunt re-releases on the PS3’s PlayStation Store on May 14th for $9.99. No word yet on whether or not its sequel will be making the same transition.
