What Do You Want From The Next Xbox?

In case you haven’t heard, Microsoft is unveiling the next Xbox today (at 10 AM Pacific / 1 PM Eastern) and the Internet is abuzz with rumors about the console. Will it be dubbed the Xbox Infinity, or just Xbox? Will those scary rumors of a required constant Internet connection be confirmed, or were they just that, rumors? What will Microsoft do to squash their competition? Supposedly, the console’s big reveal will bring with it a slew of big exclusives — will that include the long-teased Alan Wake 2? I sure hope so.

So many questions, and really no answers. Yet. With only a few hours left to wait, what would you like to see from the next Xbox?

  • killrobot

    – take the kinect beyond just being a gimmick or for fitness titles. also not needing to clear out my entire family room to use it would be nice
    – slot loading optical drive, no more trays to break
    – make it more open to streaming content on my network so i can use it as my media hub
    – better and more integrated smartglass interaction
    – expand on the indie games section, make premium titles available as digital downloads as well

    • Adam Dodd

Looks like you got everything you wanted, with the possible exception of the indie games bit, which will likely be discussed closer to E3.
