Russia Gets Invaded In The Retro-Futuristic Indie Horror Game ‘Frozen State’

FrozenState

Frozen State is an indie horror game in development at Moscow-based Snow Arc Studio. It’s still in the early stages of production, but even still, it looks incredibly promising. The developer is taking inspirations from classic games and film, including The Thing, Fallout, Resident Evil, and The Road — all of which look to be translating well to its post-apocalyptic, monster-infested Siberian wasteland.

They’re focus is on crafting an atmospheric survival horror game where the decisions you make affect the world around you. Frozen State is set in a partially destroyed, and very much secret, Soviet city that’s been overrun by intelligent and vicious alien creatures. More after the break!

Some footage from the game (a work in progress). I think it actually looks really good for an alpha.

If Frozen State sounds like a horror game you wouldn’t mind spending some time with, you can help the game get distribution on Steam Greenlight by voting for it, and if you’re feeling extra generous you can donate to its Kickstarter campaign.
