Blackfield Unveils Details For New Album ‘IV’

The collaborative project Blackfield, which features Israeli singer/musican Aviv Geffen and Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), has unveiled details for their fourth studio album IV. The album, which will be released August 26th, is the follow up to 2011’s Welcome To My DNA and features special guests Vincent Cavanagh (Anathema), Jonathan Donahue (Mercury Rev), and Brett Anderson (Suede). Pre-orders for the album are available here.

I’ve been a huge fan of Blackfield since their self-titled debut album. I’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on this release.
