House of 1000 Corpses fans get psyched, because Lions Gate Films begins promoting Rob Zombie’s sequel Devil’s Rejects in March. Rob Zombie updated fans on his official message board, you can read what he had to say inside. The sequel to “House of 1000 Corpses” centers on a band of bounty hunters led by Sheriff Wydell’s brother who is fueled by revenge when he finds out that his kin was slain by the Firefly family. The film will pick up shortly after the first with the Firefly clan going on the road after their house is burned down and a few family members have been gunned down during a police raid. ‘Devil’s Rejects’ hits theaters August 12.
Rob writes on his official board:
“Well, here’s the scoop. Everything is moving along great. We are at the final stages of post production and the film looks amazing. I finally got to see the color corrected film on the big screen and it is awesome.
Also the music is totally coming together. Tyler Bates has created a one-of-kind score. It is dark and disturbing. Not your typical Hollywood ****.
The FX are almost complete and those are looking sweet as f*ck.
What more can I say? Everything is right on track. Look for a new trailer and the first one sheet posters to hit theatres in March!”
