[TV] Next On “Dexter”: Third Sneak Peak Clip From Episode 8.01 “A Beautiful Day”

“Dexter” Season 8, premiering June 30th, begins six months after LaGuerta’s murder with Dexter (Golden Globe and SAG Award winner Michael C. Hall) still managing life as a dad, brother, and serial killer. As Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) struggles to deal with the consequences of her actions, a mysterious woman comes to work with Miami Metro, offering first-hand information on Dexter’s past.

Here’s a third sneak peak clip from episode 8.01 “A Beautiful Day” in which “Dexter is skeptical of Dr. Vogel’s intentions and participation on a murder case.

The series also stars Desmond Harrington, C.S. Lee, Aimee Garcia, David Zayas, Geoff Pierson, and James Remar. Season 8 guest stars include Yvonne Strahovski, Bethany Joy Lenz, Rhys Coiro, Charlotte Rampling, Nick Gomez, Julian Sands, and Sean Patrick Flanery.

“Dexter” returns June 30 to Showtime.

‘Drop’ – Violett Beane Joins the Cast of Christopher Landon’s New Thriller

Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) is staying busy here in 2024, directing not only the werewolf movie Big Bad but also an upcoming thriller titled Drop.

The project for Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes is being described as a “fast-paced thriller,” and Deadline reports today that Violett Beane (Truth or Dare) has joined the cast.

Newcomer Jacob Robinson has also signed on to star in the mysterious thriller. Previously announced, Meghann Fahy (“White Lotus”) will be leading the cast.

Landon recently teased on Twitter, “This is my love letter to DePalma.”

Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach wrote the script.

Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Brad Fuller and Cameron Fuller — “who brought the script in to Platinum Dunes” — are producing the upcoming Drop. Sam Lerner is an executive producer.

THR notes, “The film is a Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse production for Universal.”
