Avenged Sevenfold Release Album Cover, Title, And Release Date For New Album

Rock/metal band Avenged Sevenfold has unveiled the album artwork for their new album Hail to The King, which honestly looks like some cheap artwork done for a free iPad game where you have to pay $4.99 for a bag of crystals if you want to upgrade your weapons. Seriously, it looks pretty awful. It’s below if you want to see for yourself.

The album will be coming out August 27th and is the follow up to 2011’s Nightmare. The band will be hosting a free show on August 26th at the Hollywood Palladium to celebrate the release.

Y’know, it would look ten times better if the fonts they used didn’t have grade school level photoshop effects on them. Shit like that has NEVER looked good for a logo or album title.

Decent band with consistently cheesy album artwork, but its the music that counts

Agreed RG, While a great cover may grab my attention, the bottom line is whats inside. In reverse I wouldn’t drop a dime on a great cover for a craptacular cd.
