Warner Bros. has shared a third trailer for The Conjuring, which is based on a true story. The footage mixes in new footage and interviews with the real-life inspirations behind this summer’s biggest haunter. Update: We’ve gotten the all clear to re-post the trailer!

Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville.

“The Conjuring tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.

From James Wan, director of Saw, Insidious and Dead Silence, the haunter in theaters July 19 stars “Bates Motel’s” Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Joey King, Shanley Caswell, Haley McFarland, Mackenzie Foy, Kyla Deaver and Sterling Jerins.

Saw it on YouTube earlier, and I really enjoyed the real-life testimonials POV, because it was something different.

UGH, I can’t wait for this, because The Conjuring is the one movie I’m really looking forward to this summer. Well, that and The Wolverine. lol.

I hope this is not the “Mamma ghost looking for a sun/daughter to take care of” story that Hollywood loves.

It’s not. Trust me. I saw an advance screening in Austin, TX on Tuesday (with special guest Lili Taylor!) and it is the exact opposite of that. The entity in this movie is 100% evil
