Back in October of 2010, we posted a story about Aidan, a 5-year-old boy who was diagnosed with leukemia. To help pass the time while Aidan was in the hospital, he often was busy drawing and coloring, especially various monsters. To help raise money for hospital bills, Aidan’s drawings of monsters were put on Etsy with a goal of selling 60 prints. The internet found out about the story and rallied, ultimately purchasing thousands of prints and saving the family huge amounts of financial stress.
Yesterday, some amazing news came through as doctors have declared that Aidan is officially cancer free! We are thrilled to hear about this news and wish Aidan a long, happy, successful life full of joy.
