[TV] Next On “True Blood”, What You’re Waiting For “At Last”

Tonight’s “True Blood” episode, “You’re No Good,” just aired and as a result we have a preview of next week’s episode, “At Last“. Tell me something, how is this season stacking up? I haven’t seen any of the episodes but the clips actually look decent – should I tune back in?

In the upcoming episode written by Alexander Woo and directed by Anthony Hemingway, “Sookie (Anna Paquin) confronts her growing attraction to the mysterious Ben (Rob Kazinsky). Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) counters Burrell’s (Arliss Howard) brutal anti-vampire initiatives by hitting his nemesis where it hurts the most. Growing up all too quickly, Andy’s (Chris Bauer) faerie daughters end up keeping dangerous company. Sam (Sam Trammell) and Nicole (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) make a connection. Bill (Stephen Moyer) tasks Takahashi (Keone Young) to synthesize a new kind of blood.

I was a big fan of Season 5, although I know a lot of people weren’t. That being said, I felt like this season premiere was extremely lackluster. I felt like it was more of an extension of last season’s finale. And I felt let down of some major reveals that I wanted a year to find out. Episode two and three were however better. Right now it feels like they are just laying the groundwork for the rest of the season. Nothing major has happened but you know something big will happen soon. Good or bad, I’ve always loved this show and will continue to watch it.
